The cylinder cannot wait on a freight cycle

A scored rod, a leaking seal, or a drifting cylinder usually sits on equipment that cannot be idle. Sending the unit overseas adds weeks either side of the work. We rebuild hydraulic cylinders here. The repair loop is measured in days, not legs of freight.

What a rebuild covers

We strip the cylinder and inspect the rod, bore and barrel for wear. Rods are re-chromed or repaired as the damage requires. Barrels are honed where scoring allows it. The cylinder is reassembled with new seals and pressure tested. It returns with a record of what was found and what it tested at.

Rig and plant duty

We rebuild cylinders from drilling and lifting equipment and from plant machinery. The duty decides the standard the rebuild works to, and the test record shows the cylinder met it before it left.
